Restless.

A Simple Prayer For The Restless:

Dear Father,
Abide in me and guide me through the troubled times.
Let not my spirit falter as I keep You in remembrance with Your assurance over me.
Bless me with a quickened heart and mind this day
And strengthen me through Your grace and love.
At your feet I pray this simple prayer
A prayer of few words but carrying so much meaning
In it's essence, oh Father.
As I humble myself at Your feet,
See me through the troubling times.
Amen.

A lot's been going on these few weeks.

For one, there's trials rearing it's ugly head again. Countdown: two weeks. God, give me strength. I can't afford to fall asleep unwillingly anymore now. Borrowed so many books I have, much effort I still need to succeed. Keep me in prayer, people. =)

Just this week, I've been disturbed by daunting facts. A close friend has backslided. Almost a complete 180. That's... bad. Real bad. Truly something needs to be done here. Fellowship maybe. Not only that, there's another who could be on the same path. God, what's happening to your children?  Intervention.

Shameful debates in a sanctuary? Bloody dumb activity to be done in a place of worship. Defiling the sanctity of His place. God, make your presence known in that place. Shake the building's foundation at its core.

I seem to have forgotten how to blog lately. Evidently, from the decline in posts you might observe from the sidebar there. Oh well. Time has got a chokehold on me. Juggling two blogs at once is no easy feat. Yet, I'm holding on. Hey, this is the longest running blog I've had. Ever. That's definitely something.

On a lighter note, I've now been appointed Head of Features in the Taylor's CAL Editorial Board. Big woohoo for the Man-in-charge up there! *points up*

Matt 6.33 - "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

All that's left is a partner. :D

Speaking of which, I was texting Rachel and the topic came up. Haha.

"You seem to be happy being partner-free. I get it. Leave it to fate. hehe"

"Well yeah, in a way fate. But you can't expect to just stone at home and expect someone to pop up. :D"

"Funny la you use the expression stone at home."

Batuuuuuuuuuuu.

Last note, prophets are overrated. Yes, some may well be ordained and have God's coverage over them. But people, stop being kiasu. Prophets still preach the same Gospel. Don't come to church expecting a tell-the-future session over yourselves whenever a prophet comes to preach. You come for the wrong reasons. Sigh, again it's the Chinese-ness of it all. Generalising, yes. So sue me. =)

Taa.

P/s: This post was long. Awwshummm!

P/s/s: Chong Wei vs. Lin Dan! Ngehehehe. Doubly awshummm!
